LaTonya Renae is a certified Life Transformation Coach and founder and CEO of “Tonya’z Embrace, LLC, whose practice specializes in transforming lives from their “hurting place to their healing space”. She is the hostess and founder of the “I Was Not Built to Break” Empowerment Conference. LaTonya is a believer in redemption and redemption and developed her ministry after suffering through molestation, physical abuse, sexual abuse, divorce, depression, addiction, rape, homelessness, infertility, PTSD, and more. Her pain has produced her purpose in God. She believed that only through REAL, RAW AND RELEVANT ministry will the world be healed. She has a unique gift in the “ministry of reconciliation”. One of her favorite passages of scripture is found in Romans 8:17b-18”…if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

LaTonya Renae is an author. She penned her first book “The Water God Used to Make Me Came from My Own Tears” in November 2011 and “Wounded in Worship”…A Preacher’s Daughter Journey from Wounds to Wholeness” in July 2021. She just finished a Collaborative Project “Tamar Stories Sisterhood” Powerful stories of God’s redemption with 19 other Beautiful Women Authors April 2024.  She is currently working on a new release “Forgiveness Stops the Bleeding”.

LaTonya Renae’s journey as a woman in ministry has been a difficult one. When you are fighting against systemic wrongs even in God's community, you are viewed as a troublemaker. However, she will forever be a change agent to better the lives of the abused. Her motivation is allowing her pain to purpose journey to help heal others. She chooses to live and want others to live their best lives as well. Jesus died so we can have full and abundant lives. To do anything else voids Jesus's journey to the cross.
