Professionally, TJ is an award-winning business woman, community leader, and author.  As an entrepreneur, she has started companies, grown companies, and was blessed to even sell a company she built from scratch. 

Currently, she is the CEO of the Haygood Group, an integrated marketing and publishing company and the CEO of Travel Treasures by TJ, an international travel company that specializes in Cruises and All-Inclusive resort vacations. She has held many board positions and civic leadership roles at the city, county, and state level in Texas. In fact, she is an official Yellow Rose of Texas. 

Educationally, TJ is a graduate of Southwestern Christian College, North Carolina A&T State University, and has over 30 graduate hours from the University of Oklahoma in Human Relations. 

Personally, Sister TJ Haygood is the daughter of Sister Marva Thompson (here tonight) and the late Dr. James E Thompson. She has been married for  41 years to Angelo Haygood, Chief of Space Force Recruiting & Accession.  They have two adult sons Austin and Tyler Haygood. She loves teaching, mentoring, and encourage women of all ages to reach their full potential as God fearing Christian women in the home, in the work place, and in business.  Her favorite scripture is John 10:10 “…I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.”
